Our customers’ most common questions are answered here.
If you have a query that isn’t mentioned here, get in touch via our Contact Us page.
Q: At what stage of my project do I contact you?
A: It depends on your project, but we would always encourage you to contact us sooner rather than later and definitely before any works have started.
Q: Can you provide guarantees and certifications for your work?
A: Yes, we guarantee all of our work for two years. We also guarantee all the equipment we supply for one year. We issue all necessary certificates on completion of works in accordance with the current electrical regulations.
Q: What items do I need to supply?
A: We supply all necessary equipment and materials. If you wish to provide your own we are happy to install them, and we will always advise if we believe the items are not of a suitable standard. Note: We cannot guarantee anything that we do not provide.
Q: Where can I find testimonials?
A: See our feedback on our Checkatrade page.
Q: What areas do you cover?
A: We cover London and the South East.
Q: Another electrician did work on my property but didn’t give me a certificate, so we haven’t been able to sign off the works with the local authority. Can you sign off work?
A: We cannot take responsibility for any works that have not been carried out by GE London, but we can attend your property, assess and advise, and help to rectify any problems. Costs will be discussed before any work is started.
Q: My electrics have stopped working, will it cost much to repair?
A: We will always try to establish the problem over the phone, but this will not always be possible and so the costs can vary. If you would like us to assess the problem then please contact us.
Q: Is a deposit or upfront payment required?
A: We do not ask for full payment upfront, although deposits may be taken for larger projects.
